Returns
At Harry CJ Wix Purveyors of Contemporary Design, we hope you are delighted with your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, we are happy to assist with returns in line with your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Online Orders
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, customers purchasing online have the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving their goods.
You then have a further 14 days to return the item to us.
To be eligible for a return:
- Items must be unused and in their original condition
- Original packaging should be retained where possible
- Proof of purchase is required
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving and inspecting the returned goods.
Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable unless faulty:
- Made-to-order or bespoke furniture
- Customised or personalised products
- Perishable items
- Gift cards
- Items marked as final sale
Faulty or Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs and details of the issue.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund where goods are faulty, not as described or unfit for purpose.

Furniture & Large Items
Please ensure that furniture items can fit through doorways, staircases and access points before ordering.
If delivery cannot be completed due to access restrictions, additional delivery or collection charges may apply.
Returned furniture items may be subject to a collection fee.
In-Store Purchases
Items purchased in-store may be exchanged or credited at our discretion within 14 days of purchase, provided goods are returned unused and with proof of purchase.
This does not affect your statutory rights relating to faulty goods.

We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service for returns, as returned items remain the customer’s responsibility until received by us.
Refunds
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you regarding approval of your refund.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 days.
Original delivery charges are refundable for cancelled online orders in accordance with UK consumer regulations, although upgraded delivery services may not be refundable.
