The Short Chair is a sister design to Marcel Breuer's acclaimed Long Chair. Following the successful launch of the Long Chair, a year later Breuer produced a template for a smaller, more space-efficient version. The Short Chair therefore shares the same design principle; a thin and curvaceous seat supported between two arms, but with a shorter seat. Designed in 1937.
