David Mellor Provençal serrated bread knife 22cm

The David Mellor Provençal 22cm serrated bread knife combines Corin Mellor’s design with a fully forged, high carbon stainless steel blade. Designed to cut through crusts without squashing the soft crumb beneath, it is a practical choice for slicing your daily loaf, cutting delicate pastries and levelling cakes.

A serrated blade for bread, pastries and cakes

From the first slice of a crusty loaf to preparing a cake for layering, the long serrated blade grips as it cuts. Its balanced construction and comfortable handle make it a pleasure to reach for when preparing breakfast or sharing bread at the table.

Fully forged stainless steel construction

The blade is hot drop forged, ice hardened to −80°C and taper ground to create a sharp, hard and durable cutting edge. A stainless steel tang runs the full length of the acetal resin handle, with large stainless steel rivets giving the knife its distinctive character.
