The HAY Barro Bowl, designed by Portuguese designer Rui Pereira, honours that lineage without sentiment — a simple, generous form in terracotta, glazed in off-white and crafted in Portugal from a material whose name, Barro, means ‘red clay’ in Portuguese.
The high-gloss glaze catches the light and holds it warmly. Use the bowls for soup, pasta, or anything that benefits from a deep, considered vessel.
