Robin Day for Case 675 Armchair
Available to pre-order — please allow approximately one week for delivery.
The Robin Day 675 Armchair is one of the defining objects of 20th century British design. Created in 1952, the 675 showcases Day's mastery of form and material: a single, fluid curve of moulded, walnut-veneered plywood shapes both the backrest and armrests, achieving a sculptural elegance that remains as relevant today as it was at its conception.
Reissued by Case Furniture in close collaboration with the Robin and Lucienne Day Foundation, this faithful reproduction honours every considered detail of the original. The result is a chair that is at once a piece of design history and a genuinely comfortable, beautifully proportioned seat for everyday living.
"Case have been willing to go the extra mile to develop a product which is very close to my father's actual 1952 design. The result is startlingly fresh and authoritative; one glance is enough to convince that this is the real Robin Day 675 design, vigorous, poised and finely proportioned. Like all his chairs, it is also very comfortable."
— Paula Day, daughter of Robin & Lucienne Day
